Stupid Atheist Quote of the Day

on CARM 9/13/09 poster: HS Friend (high school?)

I just glanced at the number of viewers for the CARM discussion boards, and at 16 viewers the atheism board is by far the most popular at the moment. In the past, I've noted frequently that the atheism board and the intelligent design board have the most viewers when I bother to check. When I go into these boards, it also seems that they are dominated by the non-religious posters, rather than Christian defenders of the faith. Does anyone else notice this pattern?

I'm starting to think that CARM is being largely ignored by Christians out there, and that it mostly atheists and agnostics roaming the boards, in order to pick a debate (or a fight) with the few religious zealots who turn up!

Look at that last statement. "to pick a...fight with the few religious zealots..."

That says it all. He's not there to discuss or learn or think, he's there to pick a fight. Because he hates religious people and it makes him feel like a big man to mock and deride people.

that's the nature of atheism

You mean like what you are doing now? As by your own admitance you are not there to do discuss or learn. Yet, you took the time out to mock an atheist for something that he said. After all, that seems to be the nature of theism. Make fun and mock those that dare say "no" to you and your religion. Yes, when you think about all religions are atheists as you refuse to believe in other god's. If you were raised Hindu, Budhist, or Muslim then you would be saying the same thing about christianity.

I am not mocking I'm proving. I am showing that atheism today is an ideology of hate. the only way to do that is to show hateful things they say and do.

that's childish. that's not what makes one an atheist. Atheist doesn't mean the rejection of just any god it means the rejection of all deity per se.

"Not mocking, proving." You talk about atheism being a an ideology of hate, yet what is christianity? Your gOd sent his people out to destroy entire race's of people. That is not hate? Your 'people' burned innocent men, women, AND children at the stake because they had red hair, so therefore they were witches? How about your people having groups of people that hate others for their color? As we all know that the KKK and other groups like them are very religious. Yet, we are the ones that are hateful?

try to get the story straight. have you ever read any of it? that's a simpllistic and stupid short hand for "I didn't really study."

ahahaha that's a stupid lie. that is just absolute crap you know it. nothing like that ever happened. I don't even know what you are talking about.

How about your people having groups of people that hate others for their color?

what do you know about "my people." racial prejudice is NOT part of Christian doctrine. Nothing in the Bible teaches it, it's part of a creed, not part of a council. open your little bigoted mind and learn something. Stop repeating idiotic lies.

As we all know that the KKK and other groups like them are very religious. Yet, we are the ones that are hateful?

there is absolutely no reason to associate the KKK with Christianity. the "klan" they name themselves after is the British Celtic tradition of paganism not Christianity.

they don't burn crosses because they like them.

you don't know anything about me. But I'll tell you this> I am from Texas and I had ancestors who were in the Klan. it is not about Christianity they don't even like Christianity.

In their own words:

Welcome to the Ku Klux Klan!

The Knights Party, USA

Bringing a Message of Hope and Deliverance to White Christian America!

There is a race war against whites. But our people - my white brothers and sisters - will stay committed to a non-violent resolution. That resolution must consist of solidarity in white communities around the world. The hatred for our children and their future is growing and is being fueled every single day. Stay firm in your convictions. Keep loving your heritage and keep witnessing to others that there is a better way than a war torn, violent, wicked, socialist, new world order. That way is the Christian way - law and order - love of family - love of nation. These are the principles of western Christian civilization. There is a war to destroy these things. Pray that our people see the error of their ways and regain a sense of loyalty. Repent America! Be faithful my fellow believers. "
