Catholic Church: Blight on Humanity? Or Victim of Atheist Rage?

The same commenter who ranted and railed last time is at it again. He's pulling out all the stops to prove that the Catholic chruch is a "blight on humanity." He's called it that. He's now documenting all kinds of little scandals and bad things that hand fulls of The hierarchy have done here and there. So far no new crusades. He's still blaming the actions of a few upon the whole chruch and everyone connected with it. He apparently thinks that multiplying examples is going to prove something. Either this guy is very young or he's been living in a vault because he doesn't seem to have learned the basic principle anyone in power is eventually going to screw you. No organization in history is as corrupt as the U.S. Government, but does that mean we should close down the country and hate all Americans? This is the way hate group logic works.

One news report that this reader turns in shows that a guy working in the Vatican, (not a highly placed member of the hierarchy but a choir boy) ran a male prostitution ring. So of course that must mean the Pope got a cut and is fully to blame for it? That must be a Catholic thing to do that right? That article also includes a scandal involving public works at Vatican city, which has nothing to do with the Church hierarchy. Typical hate group logic would say that all Catholics are to blame. This is nothing more than guilt by association.

One of Pope Benedict XVI's elite ushers — already in jail over a corruption probe — has been dismissed for an alleged gay-prostitution ring, according to new reports from Italy. An elite Vatican singer also was over the sex scandal.
Angelo Balducci is a "Gentlemen of His Holiness" (Papal Gentlemen), who serve the pope on special occasions, such as when heads of state visit the Vatican. Balducci helped carry the coffin of Pope John Paul II. He is also a board member of Italy's public works department and a Vatican construction consultant.

So that's supposed to prove that the Pope is behind it all? Not one of the articles he submitted discussed any connection to the Pope or any religious hierarchy. Remember the FBI model says the hater feels exhausted and that his own worth is justified when he exhibits hate toward the target.
